Avni Panchal, LCSW

Avni Panchal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has collaborated with non-profit agencies and colleges like California State University,  East Bay, San Francisco State University and University of California, Berkeley to enhance their Title IV-E  Program for Social Work. Avni provides ongoing coaching and therapy for individuals and couples  and has facilitated several dialogue circles around mental health and wellness in both public and private sectors. 

Avni has been part of implementation, curriculum management and  facilitation of Sexual Orientation Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) for about 2400 Alameda County  employees in addition to training Management. Our team collectively initiated Racial Equity and Inclusion (REI) workgroup for Alameda County Training and Consulting Team and participated as co-chair for the workgroup with Latisha and RaQuel. REI has promoted several dialogue circles around topics of race, equity, inclusion, implicit bias, microaggressions and many others bringing collective cultural change to the department. 

Avni is passionate about bringing her clinical experience in her consulting work. She wants to normalize conversations around wellness and mental health for staff at every level to have a thriving organization where everyone feels heard and seen.
